There are many gay-affirming churches who daily serve the spiritual, physical and psychological needs of many LBGT persons regardless of their particular beliefs. These churches believe in the need to establish PFLAG or AIDS-related efforts. There are foodbanks and many different programmes to care for the LGBT homeless, or same-sex families.
