Dear Attorney General Holder

If we don't have a full accounting of what types of torture occurred during the Bush years, and hold the architects of the program responsible for their actions, our nation will never fully be able to put it behind us.

No one is above the law. It's time to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate and prosecute the architects of the Bush-era torture program.

President Obama has made clear that this responsibility falls to you, as attorney general. Please do the right thing and get to the bottom of this deeply shameful chapter in our nation's history.
