   My name is Jeffrey Wackwitz SR. and I am currently being held at Oneida Correctional Facility in Rome NY 13442. I came into NYS' Docs custody in November 2009. I started out here at Oneida, Butler, Hale Creek, and now back in Oneida which I was there for a few months. I left Oneida and went to Butler which is a ASAT program. I did ASAT at Butler Correctional Correctional Facility for 4 1/2 months; from there I was transferred to Hale Creek where i was at before now. While at Hale Creek I have completed a 6 month Drug/Alcohol program. I completed on January 12, 2011. During my time being incarcerated I have also completed a 13 week parenting program. I have worked for and obtained my GED. I have attended A.A. meetings and have dug deep into my Bible.
I have also had an outstanding Disciplinary Record, no tickets what so ever. I have also endured many personal hardships and difficulties. While being locked up my wife has struggled financially and has been evicted three times due to finances. She is also struggling with my son who has a mental illness, and the worst all of my mother passed 2 weeks ago. My wife has been hospitalized twice in the past year. The reason for writing you is that when given this program here at Hale Creek I was supposed to get work release upon completion of this CA-SAT program; However, recently a warrant has been issued in the town of Shingle-house in potter county Pennsylvania. This warrant has been issued for a charge I never committed. I have documentation to prove my innocence, but they don't seem to be in any hurry to get me to court so I can clear my name. The charges are Drug related. I have never done or sold Drugs and with these charges pending I am being held back from going to work release. I am running out of time my family is on the verge of being evicted once again. I have made arrangements with the landlord to work with me on the situation, however now all of a sudden the warrant is holding me back. I hope and pray to get help help of any kind from your office concerning this matter before its too late. I just want-need to get to court in a timely matter to prove my innocence so I can get to work release and help my family while I still can thank you for any help it will be greatly appreciated.
