Casey Anthony was acquitted of murdering her daughter Caylee Anthony. After Caylee went missing in 2008. Casey partied “like a rock star” for a month before she decided to report her daughter missing. This was 31 days later. Casey Anthony gave police false and inaccurate statements during the investigation. This lead to valuable time wasted. Time and energy that could of helped the recovery of Caylee Anthony. 

The purpose of this petition is to shed light to the nature of the subject. A child cannot speak nor defend themselves after they have passed away. Hence there should be a law that charges parents, guardians, babysitters , care takers etc. with child neglect and or endangerment . If and when a child is missing for more then 24hrs and not reported in a timely manner. This is important because "time is of the essence" When a child goes missing especially at an age that they cannot verbalize or physically get help, runaway , etc. Then the person responsible for that child's safety at that time should be held accountable for not taking appropriate, immediate action. Such as notifying local law enforcement, family , friends etc. and seeking proper help for locating the child in question.
