The video gaming community is a loyal one regardless of the high cost to play. Games like Halo are highly anticipated amongst gamers around world and have a devoted fan base that makes this game so successful.

In a time where money is tight, loyal Halo fans dish out $59.99 for the game itself, $24.99 for a season pass, and an additional $50 for a yearly xbox live pass just to play online. Yet, if you didn't place a preorder for the game months in advance (an additional $15 for the 'legendary addition') you would have to wait until December 1st to be able to play the full extent of the game without sacrificing gaming XP.

Essentially, 343 industries has released an unfinished game to the hundreds of thousands of hardcore gamers everywhere. Despite the already high cost to play, the full game experience doesn't just exsist.

Without the specialization code, gamers who dished out more money before the game release have an upper hand because of abilities that the rest of the community were promised by December 1st. These codes that were supposed to be sent via email by this date are nowhere to be seen leaving players to either play without gaining points or just stop playing all together.

All customers and players including outside the US should be given equal gaming status and abilities from day one.
