«Πάφος 2017» Ψήφισμα εθελοντών – πολιτών της Πάφου.
Σε μαζική συγκέντρωση Εθελοντών του «Πάφος 2017» που πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 8 Δεκεμβρίου 2012 στο ξενοδοχείο «ΑΞΙΟΘΕΑ» και μετά από γόνιμο και δημοκρατικό διάλογο, εγκρίθηκε ομόφωνα το πιο κάτω ψήφισμα:
Ζητούμε:
1. Μέχρι το τέλος του Δεκεμβρίου 2012 να γίνει η συνίδρυση του Φορέα με τους μετόχους όπως ακριβώς καθορίζεται στο Bid Book της πρότασης της Πάφου.

2. Πιστή τήρηση των Bid Book, Q&A (Α & Β Φάση) και των όλων των συστάσεων της Τελικής Έκθεσης της Κριτικής Επιτροπής για το λόγο ότι αποτελούν τις δεσμεύσεις μας απέναντι στον Ευρωπαϊκό Θεσμό της Πολιτιστικής Πρωτεύουσας και γιατί με βάση αυτά κέρδισε η Πάφος τον τίτλο.

3. Οι 4 Δήμοι, οι Κοινότητες και το κράτος να αρχίσουν άμεσα τις διαδικασίες διεκπεραίωσης και ολοκλήρωσης των έργων υποδομής όπως έχουν κατατεθεί στη πρόταση μας.

4. Το Δημοτικό Συμβούλιο Πάφου, ως κύριος μέτοχος της εταιρείας «Πάφος 2017», να αναλάβει άμεσα την πρωτοβουλία συντονισμού των υπολοίπων μετόχων και του κράτους ώστε να υλοποιηθούν χωρίς καθυστέρηση οι διαδικασίες σύστασης του Φορέα όπως ακριβώς ορίζεται στα Bid Book, Q&A (Α & Β Φάση) και Τελική Έκθεση της Κριτικής Επιτροπής.

Petition from the Volunteers of “Pafos2017” – Citizens of Pafos

The following petition has been formulated by the Volunteers- Citizens of Pafos, during the open mass meeting in Pafos on 8th of December 2012 at the Axiothea Hotel. The meeting was called on the initiative of a group of people who have worked as volunteers for “Pafos 2017 European Capital of culture”.
Petition:
1. We demand the co-founding of the Pafos2017 Organization by the main shareholders be executed in the manner which is clearly defined in the Pafos2017 – Bid Book.

2. We demand absolute adherence to the following three (3 ) fundamental documents :-
The Pafos 2017 Bid Book,
The Q&A Pafos responded to during both phase A and phase B of the selection process.
The Final Report of the European capital of Culture Jury.
As committed by Pafos to the European Union and the institution of the European Capital of Culture.

3. We demand the four (4) municipalities of Pafos Region (Pafos town, Geroskipou, Pegeia and Polis) and neighbouring communities/ villages, in association with the Cypriot state immediately commence working on the execution, and finalisation, of the stated infrastructure works which have been written into the final Pafos Proposal.

4. We demand the Municipal Council of Pafos, as main shareholder of Pafos2017 Organization, take the initiative and immediately co-ordinate the balance of the shareholders, in accordance with the state of Cyprus, in order to form the organisation precisely as defined in the Pafos 2017 Bid – Book, the Q&A (both phase A and phase B of the selection process) and the Final Report of the European Capital of Culture Jury.
