The University of Michigan is among the world's finest Academic Institutions.  On a national level they are once again the best public university in the United States.  The University has a long and storied history both academically and from a student athletics perspective.  Mr. Brandon has done much to tarnish the University's reputation and to alienate current students, alumni and fans/supporters.  In light of recent events, the reputation and integrity of the University of Michigan have once again been brought into question and nothing short of relieving Mr. Brandon of his duties can rectify this.
