We, the undersigned to this petition, object to the compulsory removal of our Postmistress and to any relocation of the Post Office service within Charlbury and call upon our MP David Cameron to support the residents of Charlbury by calling on the Post Office to desist from sacking Postmasters as part of their Transformation Programme.

Charlbury's PO is in the town centre and is a keystone of our local shops providing a range of important services, such as banking, available nowhere else in town.  Charlbury Neighbourhood Forum is working on plans to re-vitalise the centre and the loss of the PO in its current location would undermine all of its work and be a great loss to Charlbury.
