Elon Reeve Musk is the CEO and CTO of SpaceX , CEO and chief product architect of Tesla Motors and chairman of SolarCity. He was an early investor in SpaceX, PayPal, Tesla Motors, and Zip2. He has also envisioned a conceptual high-speed transportation system known as the Hyperloop.

On May 25, 2012, the SpaceX Dragon vehicle making history as the first commercial company to launch and dock a vehicle to the International Space Station.

Elon Musk says: "I think it's certainly possible for that to occur. But the thing that matters long term is to have a self-sustaining city on Mars, to make life multi-planetary."
