Baroness Butler-Sloss, as we know has now stepped down from this role. However she was never the appropriate person to lead this inquiry in to the way child abuse allegations were handled in the 1980s. We require an individual who has a track record of holding the establishment to account and that person is the barrister Michael Mansfield QC. I do hope this petition encourages his name to be put forward by those within government who have the authority to do so.
