There are some questionable terms & conditions that the Sun have put in place regarding there Free Trails & ways to cancel.

Im starting this petition mainly on the basis that people who wanted to use the Sun Dream Team had to also sign upto Sun+ to be able to use Dream Team.

The Sun made people add there bank details to enable to recieve there 2 month FREE TRIAL.

Now comes the basis of my complaint.

• When people signed upto Sun+ the sun blocked people from cancelling for 5 hours when creating a membership. Basically stopping people who only had to create a Sun+ Account to play Dream Team cancelling straight away thus hoping that people forgot to cancel.

• Also upon signing up to Sun+ said they would send out a reminder email stating that the Sun+ free membership is about expire. THIS EMAIL WAS NEVER SENT

• When cancelling Sun+ it takes 7 days to cancel & if your payment is due in that 7 days you will be charged anyway. This is done on the basis to make money on people who didnt read the Terms & Conditions then remembered to cancel.

• Im not personally bothered at all about the £7.99 they charge me for not reading the T&C properly but when u read into what things they have put in place to catch people out i think this needs to be brough to attention.

I think that at least half of people that HAD TO SIGN UP TO SUN+ just to use Dream Team will have forgot to cancel or tried to cancel at the end of the 2 month trial will have been stung by there sneaky 7 days to cancel or by there lack of notification that there FREE MEMBERSHIP is about to turn into a PAID ONE. Also lets not forget that they didnt let people cancel within 5 hours too, just to stop members cancelling instantly.

WITH THESE NUMBERS IN MIND THIS IS A £1.9 MILLION POUND T&C's SCAM.
