This petition to demonstrate to Stratford Town Trust that the people of Stratford and surrounding area want to secure the future of the Stratford Arts House.

The Arts House is an important community resource and cannot be allowed to be closed without a clear, sustainable action plan for its future.

 Stratford ArtsHouse was opened on 1st April 2014 after a £1.8 million pound refurbishment. The venue is a multi-purpose building offering a diverse range cultural events, arts and educational activities. It is also home to numerous exhibitions, corporate conferences, meetings, private parties and balls.

Stratford Artshouse is run as a charitable trust and would not exist without the generous grant from the town trust, but on Thursday, February 22nd, news broke that that they will no longer be funding it and it will close its doors as and Arts Venue on May 5th.

Please sign this petition and show that we as a community, support the backing of the ArtsHouse and want it to continue as the venue it is, for years to come.
