The Russellville Public Library, and surrounding community, are fighting a proposal to re-zone block 61, J.L. Shine Addition (where Cogswell and Rally's was located) right beside the library from C-1 to C-2 (from Central Business District to Highway Commercial). This would allow Casey's General Store to come in and build on roughly 1/2 the block and make it impossible for any expansion for the library in their current location they've had for 40 years. Our community needs our library to grow and expand; we don't need another convenience store in that area.

On behalf of the community, please do not pass the proposed re-zoning.
