I have huge news to share with you that brings us closer to finally getting justice for my sister Michelle O'Connell. Thanks in large part to your support, Gov. Rick Scott has just issued an executive order for another investigation into her death. Gov. Scott appointed Jeffrey L. Ashton, State Attorney for Florida’s 9th Judicial Circuit, as the official investigator for the next year. We are heartened that this won't be the end of my sister's story.
