Snezhana Kruglyakova is accused of a crime that she did not commit - the murder of her guardians.

The court upheld the version of the investigation that the girl killed them "on the basis of hostile relations because of her non-traditional sexual orientation." Snezhana herself insists that her guardian, being drunk, first attacked his wife, then attacked after Snezhana tried to prevent him from stabbing her aunt with a knife. The girl insists she killed him in an attempt to save her life.

Domestic violence was a common reality for Snezhana. She said her uncle regularly drank alcohol and provoked scandals , including those, on the basis of Snezhana's homosexual orientation (she is a lesbian). He was in the same condition on that night, when Snezhana killed him to protect herself.

But the self-defense version has not been properly tested. As a result, a life sentence was imposed on the girl, who turned 25 this year. Snezhana's only chance to prove her innocence and be released is to have the case reviewed due to newly discovered circumstances.
