Mae’r Bont Droed sy’n croesi Llyn Trawsfynydd wedi bod yn rhan anatod or pentref ers creu y llyn yn 1928. Mae’r Bont wedi bod yn fan croesi gwerthfawr i drigolion y plwyf ac ymwelwyr fel eu gilydd, gan liniaru effaith colli y llwybrau a oedd yn bodoli cyn creu y llyn. Mae’r Bont wedi bod yn rhan o fywyd trigolion yr ardal er mwyn cerdded a chadw’n heini, iechyd meddwl, mwynhau golygfeydd ac ar gyfer atynnu twristiaid ir ardal. Mae ei chau yn haf 2022 wedi cael effaith mawr ar y gymuned.

Rydym ni sydd wedi llofnodi islaw yn galw ar NRS (Nuclear Restoration Services) i adfer y Bont Droed fel mater o frys er budd i'r gymuned:

The Footbridge that crosses Llyn Trawsfynydd has been an integral part of the village since the lake was created in 1928. The Bridge has provided a valuable crossing point over the lake for the residents of the parish and visitors alike and has helped to mitigate the loss of the paths that existed before the lake was created. The Bridge has become a regular part of life for the residents for walking, to keep fit, for mental health, to enjoy the scenery and to attract tourists to the area. The closure of the
Bridge in the summer of 2022 has had a negative effect on the community.
