The traveller community does need to have sites in Mid Sussex, but this site is currently used by a popular local business, which has been in place for more than 30 years and so should not be displaced for this purpose.

Also, it breaks all the guidelines laid out by the Government itself for the design of traveller sites - it is next to a municipal dump, a busy road to access the dump, which is dangerous for children, it is constantly noisy and it is close to an active railway line and bridge.
