in the 21st century, sexual health, including STI's, sexual immunisation, pregnancy and family planning, is as much (of not more) needed now as it was 10 years ago. 

recently i wanted to attend a sexual health appointment, just to check i am in good health sexually. it took me 3 WEEKS TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT.

To give you a bit of a background on the service it operates at moor street worcester, john Anthony worcester, arrow side unit redditch, small wood house redditch, droitwich medical centre, bromsgrove POWCH and Kidderminster clinic, over these sites there are usually only 2 days in which you can get appointments. The nurses are all friendly and are there to support your needs HOWEVER. these nurses are stretched, they travel to all sites across the county to work, putting strain on availability and also on the service itself. this is due to NHS WORCESTERSHIRE CUTTING THEIR BUDGET YEAR ON YEAR. 

i have started this petition today in order to ENSURE thay the 16-25 year olds that may be too 'embarrassed' to try and access the service and even after 20-30 tries, they would give up. this could have a negative effect on sexual health in the area as well as cause unnecessary complications that would in essence cost a lot more to rectify in the long run. 

this is something i feel really strongly about and i know that not many people are willing to speak up for this, but your signature means everything to make this service what it once was, before all the silly CUTS!
