Denny is 7 years old and battling a rare form of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This little fighter has been battling cancer since the age of 3 when he was first diagnosed. After heavy chemotherapy he was given the all clear - but he relapsed last year. 

Now, Denny’s only chance to live is a treatment called CAR-T which is undergoing trials. But it’s available in the US and now, because of Coronavirus he can’t travel to get there.

That’s why I’m begging the UK Government to intervene and either get Denny to the US or allow him to access the treatment here! 

The Government need to act urgently and to put plans in place to support families in this situation - that need treatment and have been blocked by coronavirus restrictions. More lives will be lost if they don’t. 

I’m a family friend of Denny. They are heartbroken. Denny may only have weeks to live without this treatment. They’ve been crowdfunding with the community and raised over £410,000 for the treatment.

The therapy could be done in UK - but it hasn’t been approved for Denny’s type of cancer (CD22). All of Denny's specialists supported the decision to try to get CAR-T therapy - and given the pandemic, exceptions should be made.

There is only two weeks until Denny needs to have this treatment. His life is on the line.
