Building 3 is a joint effort between the University System of Maryland and the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center that supports the newly established University of Maryland Unmanned Aircraft Systems Test Site. By attracting commercial industry investment, this autonomous technology will lessen St. Mary's County dependence on the Patuxent River Naval Air Station while promoting economic diversity.  With the fast moving pace of developing technology,  a delay in the project will be detrimental to it's success.

We are asking for your support to bring this critical project to completion. There is already overwhelming support from the local community including industry, private citizens and government.
