Mintabie, South Australia is a Opal Mining Town in Far North South Australia, located on APY lands, last week a Review of the Lease and Mintabie Township was published on the ABC.  Nobody in Mintabie has been informed.  Businesses, War Veteran, Women, children and the elderly will be evicted from their homes with nothing.  The review is full of lies and half truths and hearsay allegations. Mintabie has had opal miners since 1950. It is still a productive opal field of world quality gems. Many have been and gone, but all endured the way of life and left with real Australian memories. With a have a go Aussie attitude of "Ava go mate". All with life time investments in time and money. All we want is a fair Aussie go and the rights  our veteran have fought for.
