Since Cambodia’s first democratic elections more than a decade ago, 13 journalists and media professionals have been murdered in the line of work. Of these cases, only one has seen a conviction.

We, the undersigned, urge the Ministry of Interior of the Royal Government of Cambodia to expedite or re-open investigations into the cases of the 13 journalists murdered in Cambodia since 1993 and to pursue justice against the perpetrators to the furthest extent of the law in order to end impunity for crimes against journalists.

យើងខ្ញុំទាំងអស់គ្នាដែលមានចុះហត្ថលេខាខាងក្រោមនេះ ស្នើរសុំឲ្យក្រសួងមហាផ្ទៃនៃរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជាជួយពន្លឿន ឬបើកការស៊ើបអង្កេតសារជាថ្មីករណីឃាតកម្មលើអ្នកសារព័ត៌មាន ចំនួន១៣នាក់នៅប្រទេសកម្ពុជាចាប់តាំងពីឆ្នាំ ១៩៩៣ ដើមី្បស្វែងរកយុត្តិធម៌ប្រឆាំងនឹងឧក្រិដ្ឋជនដែលគេចចេញពីសំណាញ់ច្បាប់ និងដើមី្បបញ្ចប់និទណ្ឌភាពចំពោះឧក្រិដ្ឋកម្មប្រឆាំងនឹងអ្នកសារព័ត៌មាន។
