I am starting this petition in hopes to saving my mommas grave. In December of 2022 my sweet momma lost her battle to cancer and our hearts was shattered. My momma had the most beautiful memorial service and we laid her to rest in the place that she total us that she wanted buried at if anything ever happened to her. Little did we know just a short while after laying my momma to rest we was notified that we would be loosing that property to the new Mt. Parkway expansion coming through my home town of Salyersville Ky. As this road is taking my dads property his property will not be used for anything the road will run in front of the property an the property will just set there. They didn't take all of the property at the beginning of my dads holler because there was two cemeteries there. How is that fair to have one family move their loved one but not the others in their words my mom is the only one in our family cemetery also ever holler is getting a overpass so people can get to their homes that's every holler but my dads he was told that enough people didn't live up there to have the overpass. It shouldn't be about how many it should be what's fair for one is fair for all. So I am asking each and every person to share and sign this petition to save my moms grave!!! GIVE US A OVERPASS!!!!!
