Violence against trans people who use the toilet matching their gender is far higher than violence against women in gender-segregated toilets.

Nonbinary children are excluded from gender segregated toilets, and this unisex toilet block resolves the problem.

Almost all of these pupils share toilets with their siblings of all genders at home.

If boys making more mess is an issue it should be addressed whether the toilets are gender-segregated or not.

Furthermore, whether or not there are pupils at the school who know they're trans, statistically there will be a few - and they will be more likely to be comfortable with their gender identity now and later in life if they know that their school supports them.
