The slipway onto Fairbourne beach was destroyed in the storms 2 years ago, and so far Gwynedd Council has said there’s no money to replace it.  Mrs Joyce Currie, a determined lady of 93 years young, has enjoyed the beach all her life and wants your support to put pressure on the Council to build a new slipway.  At the moment you have to cross a large stony bank to access the beach, not easy for anyone with children, elderly people or anyone with mobility issues.

The beach is a glorious 2 mile stretch of sandy heaven, yet hardly anyone can get onto it!  Come on Gwynedd Council, do the right thing and build a new slipway before the summer holiday season.  The people of Fairbourne, visitors to the village  and most of all our wonderful Joyce, deserve it!!
