Tell Google, Facebook and Yelp! that working with ALEC is unacceptable.

The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) secretly writes laws on behalf of corporations and then forces it into law through crooked legislators. 

Just SOME of the legislation that ALEC is involved in: 

• Stand Your Ground
• Voter ID

• Anti-Abortion choice

• Privatization of Education
• Killing renewable energy adoption
• The Keystone XL Pipeline
• Arizona’s SB 1070 Immigration Law
• Stopping the EPA from regulating the coal industry

Through the corporate-funded American Legislative Exchange Council, global corporations and state politicians vote behind closed doors to try to rewrite state laws that govern your rights.  

Now, Google, Facebook and Yelp are joining ALEC to try and fight SLAPP legislation, which may be a noble cause, but supporting ALEC is akin to buying a piece of voter suppression, denying women access to abortion, supporting the Keystone-XL, etc.  That's where the money goes.

Google's motto is "Don't be evil."  Well, you can't do any good with evil like ALEC.

Let's tell Facebook, Google, and Yelp that even though you may help millions every day, ALEC hurts those people even more.  Stay out of ALEC or we will need to stay away from you!
