Stop publishing dental registrants addresses

The Issue

It is not necessary to publish an address for those on the dental registers on the website as a means of identification.  The General Medical Council (GMC) no longer publish addresses of doctors on their website as they accepted there were concerns over the safety of their registrants.  In some instances dental registrants have to use their personal addresses and this is a breach of their privacy.  By giving dental registrants a unique reference number which can be used to identify them the public can be protected and so can the privacy of the dental registrants.  This is the system the GMC use and there is no obvious good reason why it cannot be adopted by the GDC.
