Without offline mode Elite Dangerous is just not a viable option for many and this is such a shame for what could be a very brilliant game. All the previous Elite releases managed just fine offline why cant Elite Dangerous?

Many players cannot afford hours of there life every day to make the most of the ever changing 'realism' of an alive enviroment that Elite Dangerous is aiming for, leaving much catching up to be done when they do play, which could lead to frustration and lack of interest.

By providing an offline mode players can save there progress and resume when they have the time, with the universe they know as they left it. A far more immersive experience for those that cannot afford to put hours everyday into this game.

By signing this petition you are voicing your concerns over the direction of Elite Dangerous without an offline mode and requesting that it be included as soon as possible either pre or post official release (16th December 2014).
