The General Dental Council has shown no respect for it's role in protecting the public while irresponsibly spending the registrants' money. As a result they have a backlog of cases and unable to fund their activities. The profession now believes the general dental council in its current format is unfit for purpose and has lost touch with the profession. We call for a complete dissolution of the council and a review of the dentists act by the government
