The Issue
On Saturday 8/9/14, 18-year-old Michael Brown was killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Mo., a suburb of St. Louis.
Darren Wilson stopped Michael Brown because he was jaywalking, not because Wilson believed him to be a robbery suspect. All we know about what happened next is that 18 year-old Michael Brown, who was completely unarmed, was shot and killed.
This case was brought to the Ferguson Grand Jury, and it was reported on Monday, November 24th, that there would be no indictment of Darren Wilson. Darren Wilson's escaping of indictment, despite the fact that he murdered a teenager, was unjustly decided. This case must be brought to a higher level of court, where a higher level of justice can be fought for.
