Next year, Bryan Station is switching to an academies system. This system will make sophomores choose a major in one of the four academies. Currently, the academies are: Engineering, Manufacturing, and Robotics Academy, The Academy of Leadership and Professionalism, The Academy of Information Technology, and The Academy of Medical Sciences and Human Services. There is no Arts Academy. Arts students at Bryan Station high school will not be able to choose an academy that will help them pursue a career in the arts.

Students at Bryan Station High School are fighting for their right to an Arts Academy.  This will allow arts students at Bryan Station to pursue a career in the arts. 

Right now, because there is currently no Arts Academy, students feel as if the school is telling them that the arts are not a viable career. There are hundreds of careers in the arts, and students want to pursue these! If students are given an Arts Academy, this will help them pursue their dream career in the arts.
