Dogs kept in a store, in cages, that are not taken for walks, not given a chance to play and desperate for five minutes of social interaction are not happy.

Malls shouldn't be a place for animal cruelty and owners who want to give a dog a loving home certainly shouldn't start here.

Pet stores are wonderful places with a lot of great and interesting products on sale. Sometimes though, businesses have to accept the limits of what they can retail and unfortunately, the reality is that the sale of live animals is a complex process that requires a great deal of staff capacity and thorough procedures.

Even if you're not a dog person, please sign this petition if you believe a sign of a healthy society is one that doesn't watch the inhumane treatment of animals go unnoticed and more importantly, unchallenged.
