Many of the countries whose forests are being clear felled are developing countries, but even many Western countries are still shaving the planet of natural habitat at an irreversible rate.

We are in the middle of a mass extinction. It would therefore seem only logical to lock off all remaining habitats as a matter of urgency.

The outcome of loss of global habitats, is not only the loss of biodiversity, that's just the first wave, ultimately it will cause the loss of fresh water, and then it will be OUR extinction.

A very clear message needs to be sent to governments, that protecting  all remaining Native Forests should be given absolute priority.
