Here is a copy of the letter being sent to Nancy Elliott. I'm posting it here so that everyone can read it after it is signed.

I refuse to address you by your title as you are not worthy of the title Representative since you apparently do NOT represent me or the rest of your LGBT constituents. Instead of fixating on the real objective of marriage equality proponents which is love, respect, honor, care, commitment and stability among many other reasons, you have decided to take the very lowest road possible which is to dehumanize and demonize our relationships by focusing on what may or may not take place in the PRIVACY of our bedrooms. Is your relationship defined only by the sexual activity that takes place in the privacy of your bedroom? Our relationships aren't either.

Your exact quote as it has been reported is as follows, "We're talking about taking the penis of a man and putting it in the rectum of another man and wriggling it around in excrement." As is the case in many heterosexual relationships, sex in the relationships of gays and lesbians account for a very miniscule amount of time in their lives, yet this is the part of same-sex male relationships you are fixated on.

Your wording is highly offensive and highly demeaning. Do you refer to the sexual activity of heterosexuals as "a man putting their penis in a woman's vagina and wriggling it about in menstrual fluid?" I didn't think so. You have literally in one statement attempted to make the love, the commitment, the care, the honor, the stability in our relationships and narrowed them down to a very minute part of our lives for which YOU don't like nor understand. (And in case you weren't aware, let me make another thing clear, this sexual activity that you described takes place in many heterosexual relationships as well.)

You have made it abundantly clear that you have no shame in presenting your hatred in a public forum, but your hatred is absolutely disgusting and disturbing. As an ELECTED official you are supposed to represent ALL of your constituents. I DEMAND that you make an immediate PUBLIC apology.
