More than 550 health professionals and institutions from all 50 states have sent an open letter to McDonald’s asking them to stop marketing junk food to kids.

These health professionals are an impressive lot. There are notable pediatricians like T. Berry Brazelton and cardiologists like William C. Roberts, Editor-In-Chief of The American Journal of Cardiology. There is the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Oprah-regular Dr. Andrew Weil, and even the Hollywood-immortalized physician and clown, Patch Adams.

The scientific evidence is clear. Ending junk food marketing to kids could spare the health of millions of children.

Now, these health professionals are calling on more people to join them. Add your name to the letter to tell McDonald’s that now is the time to stop profiting at the expense of our children’s health.
