Support Enterprise's Hood to Coast Relay Team - Running for Shelter
The Issue
Enterprise Community Partners and Enterprise Community Investment are proud to take the lead in a unique effort to raise funds and public awareness for affordable housing. Enterprise has formed a twelve-person team to run the Hood-to-Coast Relay in Oregon, the largest relay race in the world. Enterprise has set an ambitious but achievable goal to raise at least $50,000 for a worthy non-profit organization in Washington, Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI).
About Hood to Coast
This year's Hood-to-Coast is a 197-mile race from Timberline Lodge on Oregon's Mt. Hood to the coastal town of Seaside. The race runs continuously through the night as each runner runs a total of three 5-6 mile legs. While we have no ambition of finishing with the fastest teams in less than 17 hours, we do hope to lead the way in raising funds for affordable housing.
