The Reform Of Marijuana Laws targets:  Patty Murray, United States Senator of Washington, Senate

The removal of all criminal penalties for the private possession and responsible use of marijuana by adults, including the cultivation for personal use, and the casual nonprofit transfers of small amounts. the development of a legally controlled market for marijuana, where consumers could purchase it from a safe, legal and regulated source.

The right of patients to use marijuana as a medicine when their physician recommends it to relieve pain and suffering.

The right of farmers to commercially cultivate the non-psychoactive strain of cannabis known as hemp for industrial purposes, such as food and fiber production.

MY COMMENT:

This law needs to include the right for individuals to produce their own non-commercial Cannabis of all varieties without Gov or Corporate interference. Anything less will constitute a continuation of the double standard that it is OK for Big Pharma to produce and sell extremely dangerous and sometimes lethal drugs while real people are not allowed to provide safe herbs for themselves. It would be insane and suicidal and genocidal to continue on this path. RE-LEGALIZE CANNABIS SPECIES NOW. I will not vote for any pol who does not have the common sense and courage to understand that this is not an issue of protecting US from ourselves but that WE need protection from Big Pharma, the REAL "pusher man".

I cannot sign this petition either ... unclear wording, erroneously calls it a "drug" when it is an HERB. A drug is something that is manufactured.
An herb is something that grows naturally.

President OBama,
  You have Admitted Smoking Cannabis in Your Youth and have suffered No Harm.
  It is Time You take the Lead and end Incarceration for Cannabis Possession.
   You will show the World and Every American that there are more Important places to spend our Precious resources on, instead of Damaging the Lives and Families of those who use this Maligned plant.
  Too many Americans have had their Lives and Futures Irreparably Harmed by these Draconian and Eggregious Laws.
Show us how Truly Intelligent You are by ending this waste of our Limited Resources and stop sending the wrong message to our children and the world.

  MY COMMENT:

I seriously doubt that you would be president today if you had been caught smoking weed when you were younger. SHOW US THAT YOU MEAN WHAT YOU SAID: "We need JUSTICE, NOT JUST US!" -------- in this issue as well. If you continue to laugh off this PROHIBITION problem that is anything but trivial, you will also be showing us that YOU have a problem of some kind and therefore are not trustworthy & not being honest with the people who elected you. PLEASE SHOW US YOU HAVE SOME COMMON SENSE AND THE COURAGE TO STAND UP TO BIG PHARMA LOBBYISTS.
