On Tuesday, Feb. 22nd 2011, Rep. Paul Broun of the 10th District in GA did nothing but encourage an audience member of his meet & greet who asked him "Who is going to shoot Obama?" According to reports, Broun allowed about a minute of laughter then responded with sympathy to questioner & audience at large by claiming he understands how frustrated people are with Obama's governing style. I was taught in US History that any verbal, written or perceived physical threat to the President was illegal. Why is nothing being done about Broun & his actions or the questioner? These kind of threats should not be laughed off-put yourself in the shoes of the Arizona families after last month's shooting at Rep. Giffords' meet & greet! If you agree this SHOULD NOT be laughed off please sign this petition!

A Congressman who seemingly tolerates with a chuckle the assassination of our sitting head of state should be condemned for it across the political spectrum.

Let's all help to make this a more peaceful world by not tolerating violence to anyone, we can agree to disagree without resorting to bullying escalated to death threats against President Obama!
