There are nearly 1,500 gray wolves in the Northern Rockies. The Administration's decision to de-list the wolves allows hunters in Idaho and Montana to kill nearly 1,000 of these beautiful creatures, who are vital to the ecosystem. This is the latest attempt to de-list the wolves, which were nearly wiped out by hunting last century, and have been listed as threatened in Minnesota and endangered everywhere else in the U.S. We need to ensure a sustainable population of the gray wolves in the Northern Rockies!
