No es de justicia para los toros que en el Parlamento Europeo haya a disposición de los ciudadanos folletos en los que se puede leer esto: “El bienestar de los animales es una prioridad de l’UE. Se trata de asegurarles un trato humano y respetuoso.”

Y no es de justicia por las imágenes que muestro sobre las diferentes modalidades de tortura a los Toros en España, que conmocionan a los miembros de una comunidad cada vez más sensible a estos actos de crueldad, porque el dolor es siempre indeseable, y más, cuando se infringe por diversión.

Como lo más sencillo de este mundo: “No disfrutar a costa del sufrimiento de un ser vivo”, ni se ve (nada de lo que ocurre es ficticio, todo es real), ni se entiende (se utiliza la razón, para, de forma estudiada y planificada, machacar al débil), ni se siente (ni un ápice de compasión); es de máxima urgencia que el Parlamento Europeo garantice los derechos básicos, arrebatados durante décadas, de estos pobres rumiantes pacíficos.

Dado que la tortura no tiene cabida ni legalidad en un país Democrático y Europeo, insto a su Compasión y Sabiduría, para que:

En la próxima sesión parlamentaria se pronuncie sobre estos actos barbáricos y sobre las innumerables solicitudes de rechazo que ha recibido al respecto.

Inste a los grupos parlamentarios que condenen y rechacen el consentimiento y financiación de la tortura, último escalón de la degradación humana. Si no hacen nada al respecto, nuestra infancia verá estos hechos como algo normal, cuando son totalmente reprobables, y este círculo vicioso nunca acabará.

No tengo la menor duda que el Parlamento Europeo, cuyos principios se basan en la dignidad humana, la libertad y la justicia, tomará en consideración esta solicitud, que, sin duda, repercutirá en bien de todos.

It is not justice for bulls that leaflets are available in the European Parliament in which the following can be read: “Animal welfare is a priority of the EU. The aim is to ensure they receive humane and respectful treatment.”

Neither is it justice from the pictures I am showing of the different forms of torture of bulls in Spain, which are deeply distressing to the members of a community that is ever more sensitive to these acts of cruelty, as pain is always undesirable, more so when it is inflicted for enjoyment.

As the simplest thing in the world, “Do not take pleasure in the suffering of a living being”, is neither seen (nothing of what goes on is fictitious, it is all real), nor understood (reason is used in a studied and planned way to crush the weak), nor felt (not one iota of compassion); it is of the utmost urgency that the European Parliament guarantees the basic rights, abused for decades, of these poor peaceful ruminants.

Since torture has no place or legal standing in a democratic and European country, I urge your Compassion and Wisdom so that:

You make a pronouncement at the next parliamentary session on these barbaric acts and on the countless applications of rejection that you have received in this regard.

You urge the parliamentary groups to condemn and reject the consent and finance of torture, the final straw of human degradation. If you do nothing in this respect, our children will see these acts as normal, when they are utterly reprehensible, and this vicious circle will never end.

I do not have the slightest doubt that the European parliament, the principles of which are based on human dignity, freedom and justice, will take this application into consideration which will, without a doubt, result in the good of all.
