Please Support the American Recovery and Investment Act

The U.S. Senate is scheduled to vote this week on economic recovery legislation that includes funding for essential services to children and adults with disabilities. The House of Representatives passed its version of this bill on January 28th.
Crucial issues like new investments in special education, Head Start, child care, vocational rehabilitation, Community Development and Community Services Block Grants and Social Security Disability Assistance are on the line.
Easter Seals is working with members of Congress and the Obama administration to craft policy and legislation beneficial to persons with disabilities, their families and caregivers. Let your lawmakers know that this issue is important to you, and to Easter Seals.
