Even if you don't bike, watch out for bicyclists and share the road with them.  Sure, they're annoying with their Critical Mass and their bright not-so-stylish clothing, but they're just trying to be visible and raise awareness.  Cyclists account for 2% of all road deaths and injuries.  It is said that the first automobile accident in the United States was in New York City in 1896 when a vehicle hit a cyclist.  Awareness matters - U.S. cyclists are three times more likely to be killed than German cyclists and six times more likely than Dutch cyclists.  It's considerate, it's life-saving, and it's the law.  Please share the road.
