The Issue
Show the Albuquerque City Council we support the following Resolution and request they sign it without delay. Keep multinational corporate money from influencing our government! They have no allegiance to the USA and are only interested in our money.

Move to Amend Initiative of Albuquerque, New Mexico
RESOLVED, the People of Albuquerque, New Mexico, stand with the Move to Amend campaign and communities across the country to defend democracy from the corrupting effects of undue corporate power by amending the United States Constitution to establish that:
1. Only human beings, not corporations, are endowed with constitutional rights, and
2. Money is not speech, and therefore regulating political contributions and spending is not equivalent to limiting political speech.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the People of Albuquerque, New Mexico, hereby instruct our state and federal representatives to enact resolutions and legislation to advance this effort.
