Hold BP completely responsible for the negligent oil spill. An oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico is spewing 200,000 plus gallons of oil a day. Still, efforts have failed to stop the oil from entering the ecosystem.

Who thinks of ideas after the explosion? Shouldn't there be thoughts of what to do in case of explosion or leakage before an explosion or leakage situation occurs?

BP is doing nothing more than pointing fingers at the company THEY hired to run the rig. BP is solely responsible and only BP.

Example: a general contractor does work in your house,the g.c. hires a sub-contractor to do the plumbing,the plumbing fails,the g.c. is ultimately responsible for fixing the failure.

BP must be held to the fire on this matter.

The EPA has come out with new laws and regulations in the construction industry. Where are the laws and regulations on the big money industries?

Our government has made it possible for some to be above the law. The Obama Administration needs to make an example out of BP. The Obama Administration needs to discontinue the view of letting the oil companies regulate themselves. Time and time again their regulations fall short of keeping us,them,and Mother Earth safe.
