Estimado señor Skelly

Somos un grupo de aficionados al Tourist Trophy de la Isla de Man que queremos hacerle la siguiente propuesta:

Este año 2014, se cumple el centenario de la primera participación de pilotos españoles en el TT. En 1914, Sorreguieta y Luis de Arana se enfrentan al Mountain Course por primera vez, y desde aquel año, otros 24 pilotos se atrevieron con tamaño desafio, Miquel Simó, Marcel Cama, Santiago Herrero, Angel,Nieto, etc, etc… el último de ellos, el piloto Antonio Maeso, que participó el año pasado, el 2013, con resultado de una gravísima lesión en su pierna derecha, que le retiró para siempre de su pasión.

Desde España nos gustaria que su departamento, se involucrara en hacer un homenaje a todos estos pilotos que tuvieron la valentia de enfrentase al mayor reto deportivo al que se pueden enfrentar en el mundo de la velocidad, el Tourist Trophy de la Isla de Man.

Es por esto que solicitamos que la Parade Lap de esta edición 2014 del TT sea dedicada en homenaje a todos estos pilotos y que su departamento haga el esfuerzo de invitar a asisitir a todos los pilotos que participaron y continuen con vida a dar una vuelta de honor acompañados por algunas de las grandes estrellas españolas de MotoGP.

Creemos que sería un gran gesto, que tendría una gran difusión y mejor acogida entre las decenas de miles de aficionados españoles al motociclismo.

We are a group of spanish motorcycling fans and specially Tourist Trophy on the Isle os Man ones and we would like to make you the following proposal:

In 2014 it will be the cenntenary of the first spanish Riders participation. In 1914 Sorreguieta and Luis de Arana faced the Mountain Course for the first time and since then, another 24 TT Riders dared to take part in such a challenge: Miquel Simó, Marcel Cama, Santiago Herrero, Angel Nieto ...the last of them all, Antonio Maeso who took part in the 2013 edition with a very severe injury on his right leg which made him leave for now on his passion.

From Spain we would like that your departament could help us in making a tribute to all these TT Riders who were so brave as to face the biggest sport's challenge in the speed's world of motorcycling: The Isle of Man's Tourist Trophy.

For this reason it is why we ask that the 2014 parade lap could be dedicated to all these TT Riders and that your deparment could make the effort to invite the Riders who are still alive and make a tribute lap accompanied by some of the big spanish MotoGP stars.

We think it would be a great thing with a wild broadcasting and really great welcome between the many thousands of the spanish mitorcycling fans.
