Please help me understand and overcome this critical issue.

I have thought, based on many teachings, for some time now that we are all here to help each other, in any way we can when called upon, or, perhaps not. I also have thought that action takes precedence over contemplation, though much contemplation has to occur before positive and effective action can take place. I recognize that I am a change agent and yet I have neglected an important area in my life (anti-nuclear passions). My teachers have helped me understand who I am and how I can help. Thank you to all those whose lives have touched mine.

While I have had a great sense of community throughout my life, my experience tells me we are not all the same. Please, contemplate this.

As human beings, We All Share some very fundamental things about our individual and collective needs for survival and procreation, if we choose these pursuits.

One of our collective requirements for productive life is safety. Just like all critters, We All Need Safety. Safety helps us protect our lives and our children’s lives on this planet from things that harm us (being an Aggie (Go FFA), I will qualify that statement with noting that pesticides and herbicides poison our food, soil, water, and, subsequently, our health). I am Pro Life. That does not mean I am not Pro Choice, though. In these times (2011), you might choose to consider these things more comprehensively than ever before. Google and learn about Permaculture if you need to understand where I come from.

We are an internationally (economically, industrially, agriculturally/environmentally, culturally) connected world of related and unrelated people.

We all share some primary needs. Maslov’s hierarchy generally comprises our primary, global, and often shared values.

In essence, we all basically need love/companionship, we all need shelter. We all need food. We all need water. We all need income [or bartering capability], and we all need safety.

And, I will elaborate. We all need to know our lives have some merit. This falls under Maslov's Esteem category, I suppose. Merit being perhaps some value derived from our actions and presence - otherwise, what good are we, and do we have people who can help us when we need help to fulfill our sense of worthiness? Considering the many who can not help themselves, but have no choice in the matter perhaps due to chronic illness or other debilitating events. Such as Fukushima, Chernobyl, The Marshall and Channel islands, Nevada, Hiroshima, Nagasaki ... all cancer victims and survivors, and untold others.

For those of you who don’t care about your impact on this planet, which (my nuclear POV) obviously some of you don’t - Go Piss Off. Let Humanity, the Truly Concerned Scientists, and Awesomely Caring Physicians take over. Economic Reasons can not be allowed to take precedence over Health.

Some entities and individuals have chosen to make decisions and take actions which have culminated in our planet’s worst environmental catastrophe in human history to date. Historic evidence dictates that this is true.

We must move forward. Absolute Change is needed now. We have just observed the dumping of far too much radioactive material into the world’s oceans and this highly critical and poisonous event is still ongoing, while TEPCO, the company “in charge” insists on waiting.

Exactly WHY are we waiting as melt-through continues to threaten the world’s oceans and our food chain? We have more than seriously compromised our collective safety.

There goes the food chain. I am sorry I did not stay involved in the anti-nuclear movement longer and more forcefully after being with SoNoMoreAtomics in Sonoma County, early 80’s. Because, WE are in deep now, folks.

We have no time to waste in acting to protect ourselves from ongoing and increasing nuclear toxins entering our food chain.

There needs to be barriers built to protect the oceans, now. We have to try.

Everyone needs to learn how to protect water, food, and exposure from highly toxic radioactive elements. Far too many will become cancer victims, otherwise.

Interesting to note that radiation readings for the world online show some countries with higher background radiation levels already ... check it out, see Greenpeace and Union of Concerned Scientists, Google Alexander Higgins. Perhaps we all should have begun testing and reporting radiation elements more than twenty years ago to establish a baseline per Dr. Helen Caldicott’s calls for attention on nuclear issues way back then.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), The Nuclear Regulatory Committee (NRC), The Center for Disease Control (CDC), The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), General Electric (GE), (TEPCO), United Nations (UN), World Health Organization (WHO), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and I believe, the G12 or G20, whatever they are now, and the Military Industrial Complex (MIC) ARE ALL (if not more groups and entities and individuals) RESPONSIBLE for the nuclear decimation of our earth’s food chain, ecosystems, and our collective rights to safety and health.

Please. Please, sign and share this petition and write a personal letter to your governaning officials about your immediate need for food, water, and air safety and get them on board, We ALL Need Safety actions taken, NOW. Just ask a child how they feel about being poisoned.

Japanese children have collectively just experienced the worst childhood tragedy they may ever know. I simply can not comprehend what life is like for Japan’s children right now. I lost many productive years to Monsanto’s RoundUp. I know how bad poisons are, as an adult with a stronger immune system than children.

More importantly, I know there must be at least one million persons in this world who agree with me on the issue of rights to safety. I’d like to present this letter to our world leaders ASAP.

This message has nothing to do with political parties. This is a health and safety issue.

The solution? Like Bill says - simple. Shut down all projects/programs, tests, events, views, that require nuclear activity ... plutonium, cesium, Iodine, war - these and other elements once released and distributed around the earth are killing humanity, and its flora and fauna. Secure all that shit at industry expense without impacting us further and good luck to you. Word.

I don’t care why others think we need nuclear - it is killing us all and that is just wrong and probably criminal. Especially in light of evidence that lies were and are perpetuated throughout the nuclear industry to convince others to go ahead and take this huge risk with nuclear. There is no safety net for nuclear waste or accidents. We have other energy and health solutions at hand.

Think - what did we do before we had nuclear? We did fine, and we can do better today without nuclear because we know more now, I’d like to think so anyway.

Hey, GreenPeace, World Stewardship Institute, EarthFirst, Union of Concerned Scientists, other non-partisan scientists, Natural Resource Defense Council, San Jose Center for Technology (that’s a generalism for all you caring techies), Rappers & All Musicians who share concern, Huffington Post, Safecast, Google, Mac, Adobe, and, yes, Hacktivists - I Love You All - BUT - are you working to come up with a radiation mapping and projection software program that is informative for detailed, accurate,user friendly, and timely reporting to the masses?! Is there a network to help folks understand why they need to leave Japan? Let’s do these things and more to help.

Can you help science by providing testing tools and services for farmers and harvesters in critical ag and ocean products areas around the world? Yeah, I’m a greenie, deep in. And, here we go. I’m no doomsday kid, either. But, we are in deep now. Prepare well, for the children, please.

Take note International World Court. I believe we have all been violated by the nuclear industry.

Could Someone, if not already, please start compiling the evidence for a literally world class suit? Please Help. We all will need help with relocation and remediation, because I am sure the responsible parties won’t cough it up easily, as history dictates when international corporations avoid their court requirements after destroying another piece of our commons.
