We do this at least once a week and have been for the past several years. Even though they are more expensive, we buy toothbrushes made from recyled yogurt cups. Then once we have a bunch, we send them back to be recycled once more. Although it has been difficult to overcome a Costco mentality on my partner's part, we buy all recycled paper towls, toilet paper and tissues. When I have been in charge of an office in the past, I switched to recycled paper.

We do not have much pin money, but we have a commitment to buy recycled products whenever we find them because it is so much more important than an extra Starbucks or movie.
