Public transportation should be available to the state.  The Passenger Rail Investment and Improvement Act of 2008 directed Amtrak to develop a plan for restoring service between New Orleans and Florida.  Restoring the Sunset Limited would cost little and would bring jobs and economic stimulus to the cities along its route.  Many of us cannot fly or drive across country and train travel is better for the environment.
