Wegmans supermarket recently pleased animal activists when they removed foie gras from the menu at three cooking classes in New York and Pennsylvania. However, Wegmans does continue to sell foie gras at their supermarkets.

By omitting foie gras from the menu, Wegmans has admitted that it is a cruel product. This is a tremendous first step for a supermarket, and hopefully now Wegmans will consider removing foie gras from the shelves for good.
