On March 12, 1945, a young girl died in Bergen-Belsen at the age of 16. She had been living in camps since August 1944.

Her name was Anne Frank.

Anne Frank is a symbol of what happen to all the Jews in the Netherlands and other parts of Europe. Her diary shed light on what happened in that time period. Her death was a tragedy.

There should be a day celebrating the life and death of Anne Frank. It would be more in Europe. She had a lot of courage and suffered at the hands of the Nazis.
